The mission of the Division of Renal (Kidney) Medicine at BWH is to provide quality care to patients with all types of acute and chronic diseases of the kidney, while maintaining an outstanding research program to create new knowledge relevant to the normal and diseased kidney, and educating the next generation of leading academic kidney physicians and scientists.
The Division of Renal (Kidney) Medicine has been recognized as among the best kidney programs in the United States. We are recognized internationally for our outstanding faculty who have made seminal contributions to the field of nephrology, and for exceptional clinical care.
