Welcome to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Brigham and Women's Hospital, a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School. The Department provides patients with multiple choices for personal gynecology and gynecologic care, and offers an easy-access approach to complete health care for women. In addition, a number of faculty and private community physician practices in the area offer either combined obstetrical and gynecologic care or gynecologic care only.
In all cases, a full range of routine care, as well as procedural and technological interventions, including colposcopy, pelviscopy and benign gynecologic surgery, is available. Offices are located on-campus and off-campus in Boston and nearby communities. A number of faculty and private physician practices only provide gynecologic care. All inpatient services are provided at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
- Ambulatory Resident Obstetrics: Our practice offers ambulatory hospital-based obstetric care primarily for a culturally and socio-economically diverse population. Under the direct supervision of faculty attending physicians, first and second year residents provide the low risk prenatal care. Throughout the week chief resident provides care for specific patient populations. Our practice is located at the Brigham and Women's Hospital main campus, at 75 Francis Street in Boston.
- Brigham Obstetrics and Gynecology Group (BOGG): Attending faculty provide expert and thoughtful care in general obstetrics and gynecology. Services offered include general gynecology, infertility, normal and high-risk pregnancy, Pap smear evaluation, gynecologic surgery, and menopause, as well as office-based procedures. Our physicians see patients on our main campus at 500 Brookline Avenue in Boston, at Brigham and Women’s Health Care Center in Chestnut Hill and at Brigham and Women's/Mass General Health Care Center in Foxborough.
- Affiliated OB/GYN Practices: We partner with providers who provide general obstetrical care throughout the greater Boston area.
