Welcome to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Brigham and Women's Hospital, a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School. The Department provides patients with multiple choices for personal gynecology and gynecologic care, and offers an easy-access approach to complete health care for women. In addition, a number of faculty and private community physician practices in the area offer either combined obstetrical and gynecologic care or gynecologic care only. In all cases, a full range of routine care, as well as procedural and technological interventions, including colposcopy, pelviscopy and benign gynecologic surgery, is available.
All faculty and private practices in the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology provide obstetrical and/or gynecologic services including routine and high-risk prenatal care; delivery and postpartum care; and routine and special gynecologic care, including colposcopy, laser and gynecologic surgery, management of abnormal pap smears, infertility and menopause. The newest techniques in pelviscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries are utilized. Offices are located on-campus and off-campus in Boston and nearby communities. A number of faculty and private physician practices only provide gynecologic care. All inpatient services are provided at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
