Brigham and Women’s Hospital Workforce Initiative
Allied Health Initiative
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Allied Health Initiative is an ambitious workforce project that will create an internal pipeline to prepare Partners employees interested in pursuing a career in allied health. The six-year initiative will address the hospitals’ chronic shortages of allied health workers and will build on the lessons learned from past and existing projects. The allied health initiative is a collaboration with PHS and its participating hospitals – BWH/F, MGH and Spaulding and was made possible through funding from the Boston Foundation.
The program is targeting BWH/F employees who may be one to three years from enrolling in an allied health program.
