ESL Program Overview
BWH offers a professional development program to individuals who are interested in advancing their English skills to enhance their careers at BWH. The ESL (English as a Second Language) program will focus on career development tools, such as communicating with supervisors, interacting with patients, co-workers, and physicians, everyday English and vocabulary, and problem solving.
Classes will be held over a 15-week period, meeting one afternoon per week for two hours (day and time to be announced). One of these hours will be paid for by BWH, while the other comes out of your vacation time. Availability is limited, so sign up early, as registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Classes will begin in the fall and run for 8 months.
