JULY 2007 We are pleased to announce the expansion of our division with the opening of our Brigham and Women’s Plastic Surgery program at Faulkner Hospital, our community hospital partner.
With this expansion, we welcome plastic surgeon, Stephanie A. Caterson, M.D.,who will join Karl Breuing, M.D., and Yoon Chun, M.D., in this new location. Dr. Caterson completed her fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and received her board certification in General Surgery in 2005. In addition to cosmetic and general reconstructive plastic surgery, Dr. Caterson specializes in microsurgical breast reconstruction including DIEP, SGAP, and SIEA flaps. These state-of-the-art perforator flaps utilize the body’s own tissue to restore natural contour after mastectomy without sacrificing abdominal or gluteal muscle. |
