Clinical Fellowship in Abdominal Imaging and Intervention
Abdominal Imaging and Intervention Clinical Fellows gain experience in MRI, CT, US, and cross-sectional interventional radiology techniques. The fellowship is focused on GI and GU diseases; training in vascular MRI and CT is offered. Advanced techniques such as dual energy CT, 64-channel CT, PET/CT, 3T MRI, interventional MRI, RF and cryoablation, and 3D are part of the program. Research Fellowship in Abdominal Imaging and Intervention
Short-term visiting fellowships in the Abdominal Imaging and Intervention Section at BWH are designed to assist researchers in their work. Typically, these fellowships are for a period of months but may last up to one year. The positions are self-funded and require research in a mutually beneficial subject area. Observership
The Division of Abdominal Imaging and Intervention at Harvard Medical School (Brigham and Women’s Hospital) offers a five-day Visiting Observership training program in Abdominal Imaging and Intervention. This program is designed to expose the participant to a wide range of abdominal and pelvic CT scans, MRI exams, and interventional radiology procedures, including radiofrequency- and cryo-ablations. The Program curriculum includes participating in daily read-out sessions and observing interventional radiology procedures. In addition, daily case-based presentations by the Faculty, technical demonstrations, and informal discussions solidify the learning experience. An electronic teaching file and videotape library encompassing over 50 lectures is available for review.
