1. Is there shuttle service from the Center to Brigham and Women’s and Mass General in Boston?  

Currently Brigham and Women’s/Mass General Health Care Center does not offer shuttle service to the main campuses in Boston.  However, there are transportation options available for patients 60 years of age or older, patients with disabilities, and for Mass Health patients.  For questions please call 800-585-8294, or visit www.FoxfieldTransportation.com.

2. Is there shuttle service to your Center?

HESSCO elder services offers an affordable transportation option to and from our Center twice a week for anyone 60 or older and/or disabled.  For questions please call 800-585-8294 or visit http://www.hessco.org/trans_med.

3. Are emergency services or urgent care services available at the Center? 

Brigham and Women’s/Mass General Health Care Center is pleased to offer patients of all ages access to our newly opened Urgent Care Center. This new service, staffed by Brigham and Women’s emergency medicine specialists, provides non-emergency services throughout the day, after-hours, and on Saturdays.

4. Is the Center open on weekends and during games/events? 

We are not open on the weekends.  If there is a weekday game or major weekday event and we are required to close early, patients will be notified in advance by their practitioner’s office.

6. Are there parking restrictions?  Is parking close by? 

Patients may access the drop-off area and utilize the free valet parking offered in front of the Center. Patients may follow signage for "Health Care Center Self-Parking" just beyond the handicap-accessible parking area in Lot 22.  Also available are several handicap-accessible parking spots located in front of the Health Care Center, readily accessible for patients needing this accommodation.

7. What number should new patients call to make an appointment?  

Please call 866-378-9164 to register as a new patient and make an appointment with any of our doctors.

9. Does the Center offer financial counseling services?

Financial counseling services are available for Brigham and Women’s/Mass General Health Care Center patients.  A financial counselor is available to assist patients in exploring a wide range of programs and resources. If you require financial assistance, please contact our financial counselor who can be reached by phone at 508-718-4196. You can also contact our Financial Counseling Hotline at 617-732-7005 or 866-736-1510. We have financial counselors available Monday-Friday, from 7:00am-6:00pm to answer your questions.

10. Do I need to be a patient at BWH or MGH in order to get lab or imaging services done at the Center?

No. The Center's lab and radiology services are available to patients of all ages, regardless of their provider. However, you must obtain a BWH medical record number before getting your labs done. This simple registration process can be completed in a few minutes when you arrive on site, or by calling us before your appointment at 1-866-489-4056, Monday through Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm 

Please note: Lab services are available to patients of all ages. Radiology services are currently only available to patients 15 years or older.
