Referral Information
The Vein Care Center welcomes physician inquiries. You may use our direct number at (617) 796-7181 or call the Brigham and Women’s Physician Referral Service at (800) 294-9999 to access information about services and resources, to speak with a physician, to consult about a patient or refer a patient.
Patients should be encouraged to alert Vein Care Center office staff as to their primary care physician’s name, as well as the referring physician if different, so that appropriate information can be provided to us in a timely fashion.
The Brigham and Women’s Hospital Vein Care Center is committed to developing a seamless transition between primary care and tertiary referral. Duplicate tests will be avoided as much as possible. Radiologic film or CDs rather than reports is preferred. Please fax, mail or deliver with the patient all primary lab tests, radiology films, angiographic data and a summary of medications.
