Our Staff
Your infusion treatment team includes experienced professionals who use the latest techniques to diagnose and treat people with cancer.
Infusion Nurses
Infusion Nurses are experts in providing chemotherapy to adults with cancer. They develop a plan of care with each patient, provide teaching, and work to minimize cancer-related symptoms. Each patient will have a primary nurse and associate nurse(s) who will be responsible for care on a consistent basis.
Nurse Practitioners
Nurse Practitioners can diagnose and treat illness and injuries, perform physical exams, give preventive care, write prescriptions, and offer counseling and education.
Program Nurses
Program Nurses are the link between each disease program and the clinical area. They monitor the follow-up of patients and are responsible for some aspects of clinical care.
Research Nurses
Research Nurses are responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating clinical research practices. These nurses also coordinate a plan of care for patients undergoing therapy in a clinical trial.
Attending Physicians
Attending Physicians are board-certified in their specialty area and see patients independently. These physicians have the ultimate responsibility for the patient's care.
Fellows
Fellows are physicians-in-training that are supervised by the attending physicians.
Clinical Assistants
Clinical Assistants check patients' vital signs and help nurses during clinical procedures.
Phlebotomists
Phlebotomists obtain blood from patients before chemotherapy treatment. They also help nurses in the infusion room.
Facilitators
Facilitators greet patients at the front desk and schedule appointments.
