Driving Directions to the Department of Radiation Oncology at BWH and DFCI

From the North

Head South on Route 93. Take exit 26 (Route 28/Route 3 North) toward Storrow Drive. Keep left at the fork in the ramp. Turn slight right onto Route 3 North. Merge onto Storrow Drive west. Take the Fenway/Route 1 South exit (on left). Stay in the left lane as you drive up the ramp. At lights, bear right onto Boylston Street. At third set of lights, bear left onto Brookline Avenue. BWH: At fifth set of lights, turn left onto Francis Street. The hospital is one block down on the left. DFCI: At fourth set of lights, turn left onto Longwood Avenue. Take first right onto Binney Street. The main entrance and parking garage are half a block on the right.

From Logan Airport

Follow signs to Sumner Tunnel. At end of Sumner Tunnel, take immediate right for Storrow Drive. Stay in right lane on the ramp. Take the exit for Storrow Drive. This puts you in the left lane of merging traffic. Move into one of the two right lanes to stay on Storrow Drive. Take the Fenway/Route 1 South exit (on left). Stay in the left lane as you drive up the ramp. At lights, bear right onto Boylston Street. At third set of lights, bear left onto Brookline Avenue. BWH: At fifth set of lights, turn left onto Francis Street. The hospital is one block down on the left. DFCI: At fourth set of lights, turn left onto Longwood Avenue. Take first right onto Binney Street. The main entrance and parking garage are half a block on the right.

From the West

Via the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) and downtown Boston

Take Mass. Pike to exit 22, "Copley Square/Prudential Center," bearing left toward Prudential. Merge left on Huntington Avenue BWH: Follow Huntington Ave. for approximately 3 miles. Turn right onto Francis Street at Brigham Circle. The hospital will be on your right. DFCI: Follow for Huntington Ave. for 1.3 miles. After passing the Massachusetts College of Art, turn right at light on Longwood Ave. At second light, turn left on Binney St. The main entrance and parking garage are on the right.

Via the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) and Brighton

Take the Mass. Pike to exit 18, "Cambridge/Allston." After the toll, stay right toward Cambridge. At second light, just after passing Doubletree Hotel on the right, go right on Storrow Drive East. Go approximately one mile and exit at Kenmore Square. Stay left and go up ramp toward "Fenway, Rte. 1 South." At first light, bear right on Boylston St. (outbound) and continue straight as road merges onto Brookline Ave. BWH: At fifth set of lights, turn left onto Francis Street. The hospital is one block down on the left. DFCI: At fourth light, turn left on Longwood Ave. Take first right on Binney St. The main entrance and parking garage are on the right.

Via Rte. 9 (Massachusetts Turnpike to I- 95/Rte. 128 to Rte. 9)

Take Mass. Pike (I-90) East to 95/128 South. Follow to exit 20A, Rte. 9 East toward Brookline/Boston. Go approximately 6 miles to Brookline Village, moving into the left lane when you pass Dunkin' Donuts on right. At the traffic light for Brookline Ave., there will be a gas station on your left and the Brook House apartments on the right. Turn left on Brookline Ave. Stay in right lane as you continue for a half-mile. Turn right on Francis St. at third light. BWH: The hospital is one block up on your left. DFCI: Take next left on Binney Street. Dana-Farber's main entrance and parking garage are on the left, after stop sign.

From the South

Head north on Route 3 (Southeast Expressway). Take Massachusetts Avenue/Roxbury exit. At end of ramp, cross Massachusetts Avenue onto Melnea Cass Boulevard. At the 8th traffic light, take left onto Tremont Street. Take first right onto Ruggles Street. Turn left onto Huntington Avenue at intersection with Ruggles Street. BWH: At second set of lights (Brigham Circle), turn right onto Francis Street. Hospital is one block down on right. DFCI: After passing the Massachusetts College of Art, turn right at light on Longwood Ave. At second light, turn left on Binney St. The main entrance and parking garage are on the right.
