Consistent with the Brigham & Women's Hospital Policy on Compliance with Legal and Ethical Standards ("BWH Compliance Policy"), the Brigham and Women's Clinical Laboratories ("BWH Labs") are committed to ensuring that their services are provided with the letter and spirit of all applicable laws and regulations.  Pursuant to Section II of the BWH Compliance Policy, the purpose of this laboratory manual is to summarize the policies and procedures associated with the BWH Labs provision of and payment for clinical laboratory services.  Full copies of applicable policies and procedures may be found in the Administrative Policy and Procedure manual.

The BWH Labs are also committed to providing reliable, timely and informative services to physicians and other health care providers for the benefit of the patient.  The laboratories provide the extensive variety of clinical laboratory services using the most modern technology available.
