About Us

The Student Success Jobs Program (SSJP) is an intensive after school and summer employment program at the Center for Community Health and Health Equity at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. It is designed to give high school students a meaningful work experience in the health care environment.
Through SSJP, students from Boston public high schools are selected for paid internships at the hospital. Students have the opportunity to explore various aspects of the hospital and are exposed to different science and medical careers.
SSJP matches students with a mentor within the medical field, provides them with hands-on work experience in the hospital, and enhances their interest in higher education in health fields.
