Cindy Surin was accepted to SSJP this October. A sophomore at Madison Park High School, she is interested in nursing as a career.
Cindy works on the postpartum floor in the Center for Women and Newborns with her mentor, Sherry Adams. Some of Cindy’s duties include preparing patient rooms, assisting the unit coordinators with answering the call light systems, and putting together the admissions packets.
Sherry is impressed with Cindy’s ability to adjust so well to the department. “Just in a short time, Cindy has proven to be an excellent communicator and an efficient and enthusiastic worker. Through her interest in the areas of gynecological oncology and obstetrics, she has developed a good working knowledge of the often complex and pivotal work that goes on day to day here on CWN 7 and CWN 8.” Great job, Cindy!
