The Echocardiography Laboratory at BWH is a key facility for diagnosing a variety of cardiovascular disorders. Ultrasound and Doppler techniques can provide hemodynamic information about myocardial, valvular and pericardial heart disease.
The Echocardiography Laboratory is located in Tower 3 at Brigham and Women's Hospital. The laboratory is open from 8AM to 5:30PM, Monday through Friday. Routine inpatient studies are performed on Saturday.
Emergency echocardiography services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by contacting the cardiology fellow on-call.
