The Phototherapy Center provides innovative, safe, and effective treatment for patients with a range of skin conditions, including psoriasis, eczema, and vitiligo. Directed by Elizabeth A. Buzney, MD, specialists in the Phototherapy Center use state-of-the-art phototherapy equipment to deliver carefully regulated doses of ultraviolet light and decrease the inflammation caused by many skin conditions. The Center offers both narrowband UVB and UVA therapy, also delivered in conjunction with oral psoralens for PUVA treatment. Therapy is tailored according to the specific needs of each patient. In addition, specially targeted treatment is available for patients with eczema and psoriasis limited to the hands, feet, and scalp.
