The Legacy Society is an honorary society recognizing individuals who have informed Brigham and Women's Hospital, confidentially and in writing, that they have included the hospital in their estate plans through a will, trust, life-income gift, or other planned gift. Its purpose is to:
- Honor and thank those special friends whose thoughtful estate planning will advance teaching, research and patient care at BWH
- Foster interest and pride in advancing the mission of BWH through planned gifts
- Recognize the research, teaching, patient care and capital project initiatives supported by planned gifts.
As a member of the Legacy Society, you will receive:
- Personal assistance with questions and medical needs from the Patient Liaison Service
- News about the hospital, medical breakthroughs and BWH achievements in Brigham and Women's magazine and other publications
- Updates on tax-advantaged charitable estate-planning opportunities.
If you have named BWH in your estate plans, please let us know. We value your commitment to us and invite you to join the Legacy Society. You can even enroll online. For more information, please contact Carl Finn, Development Officer, at (617) 424-4300 or via e-mail.
