Welcome to the Diabetes Section of the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Hypertension! Our staff includes a team of clinicians and researchers who are strongly committed to improving the lives of people living with diabetes.
Clinical Services
We provide an individualized, patient-centered approach to diabetes management. Our goal is to help our patients achieve their diabetes goals and to empower patients and their families to become knowledgeable, active participants in their health care.
We provide a full range of diabetes services including inpatient consultative care, outpatient medical management and comprehensive diabetes self-management education. Non-pregnant adults are seen in the main Diabetes Clinic at 221 Longwood Avenue. Pregnant patients are seen in conjunction with obstetricians in the Diabetes in Pregnancy Clinic which is located on the main campus of Brigham and Women's Hospital.
Our clinical staff maintains close communication with our patients’ primary care doctors to make sure that care is well coordinated. We also maintain close working relationships with collaborating dietitians, clinical pharmacists and other specialists at Brigham and Women's Hospital who provide care for patients with diabetes.
