Dr. Fickie is a Research Fellow in the Center for Bioethics at Brigham and Women's Hospital and a Clinical Fellow in the Harvard-Partner's Center for Genetics and Genomics. He joined the Harvard-Partner's Center for Genetics and Genomics medical genetics training program after completing a combined residency in internal medicine and pediatrics. Dr. Fickie is a graduate of the University of Missouri- Kansas City School of Medicine. He also received a M.A in Healthcare Ethics and Law from the University of Manchester in Manchester, England. His research focuses on research ethics and the ethical issues in genetic testing.
