The following CD-ROMs are available for use in the library.

• American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders - Classification and system for diagnosis for mental disorders
• Braunwald's Heart Disease - Accompanies Heart Disease textbook by Dr. Eugene Braumwald, Chair, TMI Study Group, Brigham and Women's Hospital.  The collection of textual information and images can be used to create a slideshow for educational purposes and browsed by topic.
• Campbell's Operative Orthopedics - CD-ROM companion to Campbell's Operative Orthopedics textbook.  In depth video and diagrams.  Technical discussion of procedures and conditions.
• Classic Literature - Kurzweil readable text files of classic literature.
• A Closer Look: Signs for Idioms - Interactive dictionary of sign language for idioms in the English language.  Video clips accompany each sign and explanation of meaning and context.
• Emotional Healing Through Mindful Meditation - Music to facilitate relaxation and focus for meditation.
• Griffith's Instructions for Patients - Easy-to-comprehend overviews of over 600 health topics displaying causes, signs and symptoms, risk factors, treatment and therapy, and preventive measures. Appendices cover topics that include diet and nutrition, anatomy, exercise, self-examination and safety.
• Human 3D - Categorized information on the anatomy and physiology of the human body.  Descriptions of major systems and their functions, along with media allowing exploration of the body.
• Immunization Works - Schedules of necessary vaccinations from the US government, also information and publications about vaccines and safety infromation.
• The Interactive Human Body - includes 1,000 anatomical explanations with 800 detailed illustrations, as well as data on all muscles in the human body and Latin translations.
• Kidney Cancer - Kidney cancer, causes, treatment and diagnosis from the Kidney Cancer Association. 
• Learning to Master Your Chronic Pain - Dr. Robert N. Jamison, Clinical Psychologist, Dept. of Anesthesia, Perioperative and Pain Management, Brigham and Women's Hospital, outlines resources and activities to help deal with chronic pain
• Living Beyond Cancer - Patients receive information about what to expect following cancer treatment, including physical effects, emotional and relationship issues and living with hope while dealing with uncertainty.
• Mandell's Principles and Practice of Infectious Diseases - Accompanies textbook by the same name.  Collection of textual information and images to be used to create a slideshow for educational purposes and can be browsed by topic.
• Merck Manual of Medical Information, Home Edition - explanations for more than 1200 medical conditions, 1800 pronunciations and links to heath-related Internet sites.
• Medline Plus Health Information - Explains about the background and scope of MedlinePlus.gov, a database of consumer health information from from the National Library of Medicine (NLM), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and other government agencies and health-related organizations.
• Merriam Webster's Medical Audio Dictionary - audio pronunciations for 57,000 entries and 750 full-color illustrations.
• National Directory of Brain Injury Rehab Services - PDF directory to brain injury rehabilitation services in the USA and internationally.  Dislays accreditation and types of services.
• One Hand Typing and Keyboarding Manuals and Resources - teaches how to type and keyboard using only one hand.  Manuals are available in a variety of formats. 
• Rosen's Emergency Medicine - Accompanies textbook by the same name.  This searchable database includes full-text information on trauma, medicine, surgery, toxicology, emergency medical services and diagnostic imaging, Each chapter covers diagnosis, management and findings. Also included are presentations, self-assessment questions, suggested readings linked to PubMed abstracts and current content updates.
• Show Your Commitment to Patient Safety:Emmi - The American Hospital Association, Health Research and Educational Trust and the Ashrm Foundation share tips for patient safety, such as handwashing and communicating with one's caregiver.
• Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplantation Patient Information - audio, text and images about blood and transplantation issues, pre-admission, and side effects and complications  and what to expect in the hospital and at home.  Includes a searchable glossary and tracks pages visited.
• Surgery - Accompanies textbook by the same name with a library of images and diagrams to create slideshows for educational purposes.  Web links to relevant websites provided.
