Spring into a Healthier You at the Fish Center and the Kessler Library
Join Kessler Library Health Educator Laura Zanini at our library satellite on the fourth floor Resource Room of the Gretchen S. and Edward A. Fish Center for Women’s Health (850 Boylston Street, Chestnut Hill) on the second Thursday and the third Wednesday of each month between 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm for brief sessions to help women stay healthy and strong.
We will cover calcium intake - patients will receive a personalized assessment of their current calcium intake and what they need to do to obtain and to maintain the right amount of this mineral, essential for bone health, to prevent bone loss and fractures. A new session on exercise is debuting on May 21, 2008 - “Get Moving - Energize your Life!” which gives patients practical tips for assessing their current exercise routine, goal setting and developing a plan based on their needs. Depending on your interests, you are welcome to come in for one or both sessions!
All Fish Center patients are welcome as walk-ins during the hours above. In addition, any Brigham and Women’s Hospital patient can contact Laura at lzanini@partners.org or (617) 732-5470 to request an appointment at the Kessler Library for a personalized assessment of either or both calcium intake and exercise.
