The fellow assumes supervised signout responsibilities. Participation in conferences and teaching of pathology residents is required. The fellow is encouraged to design and complete a research project, and resources include flow cytometry, the ThinPrep Imaging System, and molecular diagnostics. The laboratory is fully computerized, allowing easy retrieval of specimens by specimen type or diagnosis for teaching, research, and quality control purposes.
