Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) is a 747-bed nonprofit teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School and a founding member of Partners HealthCare System, an integrated health care delivery network. BWH is committed to excellence in patient care with expertise in virtually every specialty of medicine and surgery. BWH's Department of Public Affairs oversees internal and external communications. This includes coordinating and producing publications and other electronic and web-based communications for more than 12,000 employees and staff, and responding to hundreds of inquiries each year from local, national and international media outlets, seeking information on our groundbreaking research, medical milestones and expert opinions on a broad range of healthcare topics.
