Are You Eligible?
You may be eligible to participate in the National Lung Screening Trial (NLST) if:
- You are between the ages of 55 and 74 years of age.
- You are currently or have quit smoking within the last 15 years.
- You have a history of long-time and/or heavy cigarette smoking.
- You have NEVER been diagnosed with lung cancer.
- You are NOT currently undergoing treatment for any cancer (other than non-melanoma skin cancer).
- You have NOT had any portion of your lung removed.
- You are NOT participating in another cancer screening trial other than a trial to help you stop smoking.
- You have NOT had a chest scan within the last 18 months.
