Affiliated Programs
The department of radiology and the radiology residency program are fortunate to have close ties with other radiology departments in the Boston area. Residents at Brigham and Women's spend 3 months rotating at Children's Hospital of Boston, 6 weeks at Dana Farber Cancer Institute and 2 weeks at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. In addition, a faculty member from MEEI reads clinical cases with residents in the neuroradiology department once weekly. Residents are also allowed to perform additional electives at both of these institutions during their fourth year.
In addition, Brigham and Women's Hospital is affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital through the Partners hospital network, and with Massachusetts General Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Children's Hospital of Boston and Mount Auburn through their joint Harvard affiliation.
