The four-year residency program consists of a carefully balanced series of rotations
through clinical subspecialties of radiology (see current curriculum). Each resident
previews cases at his or her PACS viewing station, and then reviews the findings and impressions with a radiology staff member in a personal teaching exchange. Invasive and interventional procedures are carried out by residents under the supervision of staff members and/or clinical fellows. As each resident advances through the program, independence and responsibility increase in accordance with individual ability. In addition to the standard diagnostic radiology residency curriculum, there are three specialized training tracks, the Holman research pathway, a direct interventional pathway, and a pediatric radiology pathway. We accept applications through the ERAS program for each of these. Please refer to the frequently asked questions regarding applying to our residency program.
