The lab maintains and continues developing several bioinformatics tools for genetics and proteomics (PolyPhen, SCONE, EagleEye, MS BLAST, genomic MS BLAST).
PolyPhen: genetics.bwh.harvard.edu/pph A server for the prediction of the effects of amino acid substitution on the structure and function of proteins. Developed in collaboration with Vasily Ramensky.
PolyPhen Data: genetics.bwh.harvard.edu/pph/data A data collection of public nsSNPs with their predicted effect on protein structure and function. Developed in collaboration with Vasily Ramensky.
MS BLAST: genetics.bwh.harvard.edu/msblast A mass spectrometry driven BLAST search for the identification of proteins by homology.
PSIC: A method of profile analysis of protein multiple alignments. Developed in collaboration with Frank Eisenhaber, Igor Rodcheckov, Peter Vlasov.
MultiTag: Mass spectrometry driven homology search tool. Developed in collaboration with Alexander Golod, Andrej Shevchenko. Windows application software.
EagleEye: genetics.bwh.harvard.edu/cgi-bin/msfilter/eagleeye.cgi Mass spectrometry pattern matching software. Developed in collaboration with Victor Spirin, Andrej Shevchenko.
SCONE: genetics.bwh.harvard.edu/scone Software for comparative genomics. Developed in collaboration with Saurabh Asthana.
