BWH researchers can find out about how get to elected to or involved in the following committees:

  • Postdoc Leadership Council (PLC) - Established in 2009 to provide BWH postdocs with opportunities for involvement and advocacy. PLC members actively shape activities for postdocs at BWH in conjunction with the ORC and provide feedback to the ORC of the needs of the postdoc community.
  • Research Advisory Committee (RAC) - Established in 2006, the Research Advisory Committee (RAC) provides oversight and direction to the ORC.  See the RAC members and read more about the work of the RAC.
  • Research Oversight Committee (ROC) - Established to provide oversight to the BWH Biomedical Research Institute, there are two elected postdoc representatives to the ROC who also serve on the RAC.  See the ROC members and read more about the work of the ROC.
