The Center focuses on pharmaco-epidemiology and pharmaco-economics of drugs for rheumatic disease and osteoporosis. We have focuses on NSAIDs, coxibs, DMARDs, and bisphosphonates.

Daniel H. Solomon, MD, MPH is the Chief of the Section for Clinical Science in the Division of Rheumatology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. His research has focused on drug safety and effectiveness issues related to rheumatic diseases and osteoporosis. He is co-appointed in the Division of Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics. He has authored over 150 scientific publications. He serves as an Associate Editor of Arthritis & Rheumatism and The Rheumatologist. In 2007, he received the Henry Kunkel Young Investigator Award from the American College of Rheumatology. Dr. Solomon also serves as the Chair of the Quality of Care Committee for the American College of Rheumatology.
