The BRI Center for Regenerative Therapeutics hosted a half day event on Mon, Sep 26, 2011 (Talks from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM and a poster session/reception from 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM) to highlight some of the past as well as future translational success stories of the Brigham. The event featured world class investigators from the Brigham working in the field of regenerative therapeutics. Dr. Joseph Murray, Nobel Laureate, was the guest of honor. Dr. Elizabeth Nabel, President, BWH, Dr. Barbara Bierer, Senior Vice President, BWH Research and Dr. Joseph Loscalzo, BRI Director also spoke at this event.

ELIGIBILITY
- Participation and eligibility will be limited to the first 75 qualified applicants and accepted on a first come, first served basis.
- Abstracts related to bioengineering, stem cells, regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, biomaterials, medical and diagnostic devices and nanotechnology research are invited – Please note that our judging committee will determine award winners prior to the poster session on Sep 26, 2011 based on the abstracts submitted. Cash prizes from $500 - $1000 will be awarded to the winners.
- Submitting author must be in attendance at the poster session to present their poster. No proxies!
- An author may only present one poster.
- Posters MUST be 4’x4’ or smaller in size – anything larger most likely cannot be accommodated so contact bwhbri@partners.org with questions.
- Abstracts longer than 200 words will be truncated for event program.
- Must have a Brigham affiliation.
- All applications must be complete and sent via e-mail as an attachment to bwhbri@partners.org.
