Mary Kay Smith-Fawzi, ScD is an epidemiologist for Partners In Health who currently serves as an Instructor in the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School (HMS). She received her DSc in Epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health in 1994 and went on to conduct post-doctoral research examining depression and progression of HIV among women in Tanzania. She has worked at PIH's Haiti site since 1999 and is currently Co Principal Investigator for "Psychosocial intervention in HIV-affected youth in Haiti: A feasability study", a project focused on promoting psychosocial well-being among HIV-affected children and their caregivers.
