Research Summary

1. Surgical Infections Society Multi-Center Study of Duration of Antibiotics for Intra-Abdominal Infections – NIH R01 Grant (UVA). 

Brigham and Women's Hospital will be one of 15 centers across North America. (Role: PI)

2. Trauma Clinical Rounds – Improving Communication.

This study is aimed at improving team communication on the trauma service. The focus is to have multidisciplinary rounds on the trauma patients in order to improve physician, nursing and supportive care communication. (Role: PI)

3. Head Trauma and the Use of Anti-Seizure Medications at Brigham and Women's Hospital. 

This project is in the early stages at this time and is a collaborative effort between the trauma service and Department of Pharmacy.
