Uterine Fibroid Embolization Information
If you have been diagnosed with uterine fibroids, you may be a candidate for Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE). UFE is a minimally invasive treatment which blocks the blood supply to your fibroids. This reduces their size and also your symptoms. Our clinic specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and post-procedure care for this condition. General UFE information can be found at www.ask4ufe.com. Please contact our Nurse Practitioner, Lisa Thomas, who specializes in this treatment, with any questions, at erthomas@partners.org.
Varicocele Information
There is a nonsurgical treatment for varicoceles. If you have been diagnosed with a varicocele, you have more treatment options than you may have been told about. A revolutionary new procedure called "varicocele embolization" is a non-surgical alternative to painful varicocele surgery. For more varicocele information, visit www.varicoceles.com.
Varicose Veins Information
If you suffer from large symptomatic
varicose veins, endovenous laser therapy (EVLT) may be a minimally invasive alternative treatment for you. Our clinic performs the largest volume of EVLT procedures in the region. For more clinical information, we encourage you to read about the symptoms and disease at
www.evlt.com. If you would like answers to insurance questions, feel free to email our Practice Manager, Cassandra Earley, at
