Community Health Needs Assessment

The 2016 Brigham and Women’s Hospital Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) and implementation planning process was undertaken to inform our community-based efforts as well as to adhere to requirements set by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. This work builds upon the foundation of past assessments and current investments in advancing health in the BWH priority neighborhoods of Dorchester, Jamaica Plain, Mattapan, Mission Hill and Roxbury. In this recent CHNA, we examined how social and economic factors impact the health of residents of our five priority neighborhoods.
