At the Center for Gastrointestinal Motility, patients have access to cutting-edge diagnostic testing and procedures, performed in our specialized Gastrointestinal Motility and Physiology Laboratory. This lab is led by Dr. Walter Chan and Dr. Jennifer Cai.

We also offer therapeutic endoscopic procedures at the Endoscopy Center at Brigham and Women’s Hospital to treat certain conditions, including:
- Endoluminal balloon dilation
- Pneumatic dilation
- Botulinum toxin injection
- Radiofrequency ablation
- Cryotherapy
- Per-oral endoscopic myotomy (POEM) (in collaboration with BWH interventional endoscopy)
