Clinical Trials and Research

Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis unfortunately are still not fully understood. The Brigham and Women's Crohn's and Colitis Center has a team of leading physicians and expert scientists who are actively investigating critical questions : what causes IBD, and how can we optimize treatment for each individual? We have various research focuses and multiple clinical trials underway.

Crohn's and Colitis Center Areas of Study

Patients with IBD play a critical role in helping us increase our understanding of IBD, and there are many ways you can help. Consider allowing us to collect some extra blood for research, answering a survey about your health, or maybe even participating in a clinical trial.

If you are interested in learning more about specific studies, please speak with your gastroenterologist or contact the research team at crohnsandcolitis@bwh.harvard.edu

All active clinical trials can be found at www.AllegrettiLab.com.
