The Onco-Gastroenterology Program brings together expert gastroenterologists from Brigham and Women’s Hospital to provide optimal gastrointestinal care for the cancer patient. The uniqueness of this program hinges on the close working relationship of our gastroenterologists with your oncologist(s).
Our comprehensive program provides care for:
Patients with existing gastrointestinal issues who have newly diagnosed cancer
Patients who may have gastrointestinal side-effects from traditional cancer therapy, such as chemotherapy, radiation, or novel molecular targeted therapies that may have potential adverse gastrointestinal side-effects.
Patients who are cancer survivors and need to be screened and treated for gastrointestinal cancer or disease that may or may not be related to their treatment.
