Epilepsy and Seizure Disorders Support Group Information

Resource Room at Mass General Brigham

What is the Epilepsy Resource Room?

The Epilepsy Resource Room is normally an area in/near an Epilepsy Center or hospital, staffed by an AmeriCorps Service Member, that provides services like: active listening and support, basic patient/family education, community information and referral services, site-based support programs such as peer support groups, socialization programs, a library of helpful literature, and assistance to hospital staff with site-specific needs to improve support for their patients with epilepsy. As of August 2020 the Resource Room is completely virtual.

How do I get into the Resource Room?

Your doctor will refer you to me, and we can set up a time and date to meet over zoom for the Resource Room. Once in the Resource Room, we can schedule regular check-ins and/or provide contact information for future calls. Please never hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns that you may have.
