About the Division of Movement Disorders

Lead by Dr. Lewis Sudarsky, the Division of Movement Disorders provides specialty care for patients with Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders, and is involved in clinical and basic research to advance the understanding of these disorders. It provides principal neurologic care and consultation for patients with Parkinson’s disease, multiple system atrophy, progressive supranuclear palsy, and other Parkinsonian syndromes. Faculty also see patients with ataxia, tremor, myoclonus, gait disorder, dystonia, tics and Gilles de la Tourette’s syndrome. There is a dystonia clinic and weekly botulinum toxin injection session for patients with focal dystonia (torticollis, blepharospasm, occupational cramp disorder).
