The Massachusetts Nurses Association (MNA) work stoppage is impacting Brigham and Women's Hospital. The hospital is open and we will continue to ensure high-quality, safe patient care for the five-day work stoppage. You may notice heavier traffic near the main campus due to picketing, so please consider allowing extra time when traveling to and from appointments. Learn more

For Neuro-ophthalmology Medical Professionals

Neuro-ophthalmology Fellowship

Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) offers a one-year fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology in conjunction with Mass Eye and Ear. The fellow will spend approximately one-quarter of their clinical time at BWH seeing outpatients and inpatient consults with Drs. Bienfang and Prasad. The remainder of their clinical time will be spent at Mass Eye and Ear with its Director of Neuro-Ophthalmology, Dr. Joseph Rizzo, as well as Dr. Simmons Lessell and Dr. Dean Cestari.

Fellows are also encouraged to plan and complete a research project and are provided with 20% protected time toward that end. There are two fellowship positions open each year. This fellowship is a unique opportunity to receive combined training from two of the country's leading hospitals. If interested, please e-mail your CV to Dr. Bienfang at dbienfang@partners.org.
