Center for Fetal Medicine and Reproductive Genetics: Genetic Counseling Seminar

The genetic counselors in the Center for Fetal Medicine and Reproductive Genetics provide educational programs to support the understanding and awareness of genetic information and testing among medical professionals in OB/GYN and reproductive medicine.

Advances in human genetics encourage the integration of genetic information and testing in preconception, antenatal, and postnatal care. Through focused lecture and discussion, the genetic counseling seminar aims to enhance multidisciplinary collaboration around current topics in reproductive genetics, improve execution of best practices regarding genetic testing, and positively impact the patient experience.

Seminars are held on a quarterly basis and are open to all staff who would like to attend. Each seminar includes targeted education followed by an interactive discussion. Recordings of the educational portion of seminars will be made available via the links below.
