Mission
The mission of the Gynecologic Oncology Laboratory is to advance the understanding of gynecologic neoplasia.
Accomplishments
Collaboration has been established
- with Alnis, Inc. to test the feasibility of using functionalized nanoparticles in ovarian cancer treatment
- with ChondroGene Inc, Canada, to identify early diagnostic markers for ovarian cancer using total blood cell transcriptional profiling
- with NCI and GOG to identify diagnostic and prognostic markers for ovarian cancer
- between Dr. Mok and Dr. Hauschka at Children’s Hospital Boston to identify and characterize ovarian cancer stem cells
between Dr. Ng and Dr. Benjamin Cravatt of the Scripps Research Institute, on the profiling of aberrant changes in the activity levels of various enzymes and signaling molecules in ovarian cancer
