At Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center, your health and safety, along with the health and safety of our staff, are our top priorities. Our institutions are closely monitoring the spread of COVID-19 (2019 Novel Coronavirus). The Kraft Family Blood Donor Center at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women's Hospital is continuing to accept blood and platelet donors in a safe and controlled environment. This letter from the Kraft Blood Donor Center will provide detailed information about donating blood at this time.
Immediate Need: Type-O Positive and Negative Blood Donors
The Kraft Family Blood Donor Center is approaching a critical shortage of Type-O positive and negative whole blood.
To schedule an appointment to donate blood, visit the Kraft Center website or call 617-632-3206.
When you donate blood or donate platelets at the Kraft Family Blood Donor Center at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, or give blood on board the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Brigham and Women’s Hospital Blood Mobile, you are making a life-saving difference for patients in need—right here in our community.
All of the blood and platelets collected at the Kraft Center and on the Blood Mobile benefit patients at Brigham and Women’s and Dana-Farber.
Please consider scheduling a donation to help us replenish and maintain our supply of blood products for patients at both Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. To schedule an appointment, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your preferred donation type (blood or platelets), days you prefer to donate, and your phone number. You may also schedule a blood drive in your community or at your business by emailing email@example.com or calling 888-LETS-GIV (538-7448).
Thank you for helping the many patients who depend upon life-saving transfusions.
