Nursing and Clinical Research Technician services support the clinical care as well as the research activities on the CCI inpatient and outpatient areas. This group includes RNs, nursing assistants, clinical research technicians and Co-op students.
Nursing assessment and monitoring is provided 24 hours a day; 7 days a week

Nursing and Technician services adhere to BWH and Nursing Policies and Procedures ensuring that study participant receives quality care and that all research activities meet regulatory requirements including National Patient Safety Goals.
Research Doctors planning to admit participants to the CCI should check that their Brigham and Women's Hospital admitting and clinical privileges are active and up-to-date.
All BWH study participants are considered hospital patients and will be entered into Epic/eCare medical record system by the BWH Patient Access Services system via Registration or Admitting office. For inpatient admissions, MD is required to submit ePIC/eCare admission orders with reconciliation of personal medications and discharge orders per BWH policy.
