The Center for Cardiovascular Disease in Women is dedicated to developing new sex- and gender-specific strategies for the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of coronary heart disease in women. Heart disease continues to be the leading cause of death for all Americans; one out of two women will develop heart disease in her lifetime.

The Center is committed to improving and maintaining women's heart health through excellence in clinical care, research, patient and provider education, and community outreach and advocacy.
