Application Process

Candidates for the Deland Fellowship come from a variety of careers and educational backgrounds, including medicine, business, law, public policy and public health. An advanced degree from a U.S. accredited institution is required for consideration. Please note that appointments are for one year.

Brigham and Women’s Hospital is using the National Council on Administrative Fellowship’s centralized application system. Candidates can apply at If there is a reason that the potential candidate cannot apply through NAFCAS, please contact the program director for consideration of a direct application.

Fellows are provided an annual stipend and benefits equal to that of medical residents. The fellow is able to go to a national healthcare conference and a regional conference or course.
