The H. Richard Nesson Fellowship

leadership as president of the hospital and his lifelong commitment to public
and community health. The two-year fellowship is awarded annually to
outstanding and promising health care professionals interested in health care
policy, local or state community health research or other community clinical
care that addresses society's critical and
emerging health care needs. Weiner's fellowship project will be to create the Brigham Comprehensive Opioid

new opioid prescription guidelines for the hospital, work with multiple specialties to encourage safer prescription
practices and work at the
community level to improve
patient education and outreach.
