Xavier de la Rosa Siles, PhD, of the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine, received the F100 Outstanding Presentation Poster Prize from the New York Academy of Sciences (NYAS) and F1000Research at the Resolution of Inflammation, Infection and Tissue Regeneration conference in June.
De la Rosa Siles’ research has contributed to the identification of complete structures of the new anti-inflammatory compounds and their functions. These findings provide new targets and possible drug treatments to fight inflammation, infections and promote wound healing.
