Mathew Honored with Indian Medical Association of New England's President's Award

Paul G. Mathew, MD, DNBPAS, FAAN, FAHS, of the Department of Neurology, received the Indian Medical Association of New England’s President’s Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the organization, including serving as the course director of its continuing medical education (CME) course on risk management at the Massachusetts Medical Society headquarters in Waltham.

Mathew, now in his fourth term as an executive board member for the Indian Medical Association of New England, serves as director of the Visiting Scholars Program at the Department of Neurology's John R. Graham Headache Center at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital. He is also director of the Advanced Neurology Clerkship, which is an elective for medical students interested in a career in neurology.

The Indian Medical Association of New England is an organization for medical professionals of Indian origin in the New England area. The group organizes and supports numerous professional and social activities for the benefit of both members and the communities they serve.
