Bryant Elected Director of Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society

Diane Bryant, MS, RN, CWOCN, of the Department of Nursing, was elected director of the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses (WOCN) Society. She will be sworn into her position at the organization’s WOCNext 2019 conference, held in Nashville this June.

A wound, ostomy and continence nurse for more than 20 years at the Brigham, Bryant provides specialized care to a diverse group of patients with her colleagues. During that time, she has also been an active member of the WOCN Society, serving at the local, regional and national level. One of her goals as director is to work with other WOCN Society leaders to ensure that patients throughout the country receive the best wound, ostomy and continence care.

Founded in 1968, the WOCN Society is a professional, international nursing society of more than 5,000 health care professionals who are experts in the care of patients with wound, ostomy and incontinence.
